TransFics

TransFics + Love Bites
7pm – 9:30pm – Hugo House (1021 Columbia St, Seattle, WA 98104)

Join us at Hugo House for an evening celebrating LGBTQ stories with the two programs TransFics & Love Bites.

TransFics – 7pm – 8pm

Join us from 7pm – 8pm as we celebrate the fiction of trans, genderqueer, and nonbinary authors. Enjoy hearing the tall tales, luscious lines, and sexy stories from this truly transfixing group of writers as they share short reading from their work.

Readings by authors Austin Chant, Tobi Hill-Meyer, Laylah Hunter, EE Ottoman, JK Pendragon, and Alex Powell.

Love Bites – 8:30pm – 9:30pm

After enjoying your break at the Hugo House bar, come back to the stage to snack on a delicious array of 5 minute readings from a delightful crew of LGBTQ romance authors. From the saucy to the succulent, sexy to salivating, come satisfy your appetite for queer love stories in all their ravishing rainbow colors, and know that YES-OH-YES, there is room for dessert.

Readings by authors Jeff Adams, Dev Bentham, CJane Elliott, Isabella, Christopher Moss, Richard Compson Sater, Karelia Stetz-Waters, and Cora Walker.

GRNW 2016 Conference

12pm – 1pm: Registration, Grab Your Swag, and Meet & Greet (Microsoft Auditorium)

After grabbing your nametag and your swag bag at registration, check out the free book table and meet other attendees who will be joining GRNW for the day. The free book table goes fast, so get there early.

Stop by the Gay City table across from registration if you have a LGBT book to donate! We are having a book drive for Gay City’s LGBT Library, and every LGBT book donation earns a raffle ticket and a chance for a prize!

12pm – 6pm: GRNW Book Fair (4th Floor, Room 1)

The GRNW 2016 BookFest will be open throughout the conference, from 12pm – 6pm. You can peruse the author swag tables early or stop by the booksale table, that will include books by attending authors, hosted by the Portland bookstore Another Read Through.

If you want to get a first look at what the bookstore table has, come visit during the Registration period between 12pm – 1pm, or stop by during conference programming if you are looking for a quiet place to peruse.

1pm – 2pm: Opening Session and Keynote (Microsoft Auditorium)

Kick-off GRNW 2016 together with attendees as we explore in this year’s multi-part keynote address the question, “What is your queer romance dream?” It will be a fantastic hour of reflection, sharing, and celebrating the vibrant queer romance community. Come be a part of it!

We’ll be chatting with attendees about what is YOUR queer romance dream, and together, we’ll gather the pieces for a reflective visual for the Book Fest.

thumb_1471903475-artworkJoin us for the free after-party at the historic Seattle bar/venue Rendezvous! We’ll be downstairs in The Grotto. Food and drink are available for purchase, and the party is hosted by the amazing queer romance podcast The Hopeless Romantic!

Buses to Rendezvous will be available at the Seattle Public Library.

Notes on Access: The main party room for GRNW is on the bottom-floor at the Rendezvous in “The Grotto” room, and is accessed via stairs. The bar’s front half on the first/main floor is accessible without stairs, and has booths and a bar.
