Come join us for two days of activities as we celebrate together the awesomeness of LGBTQIA romance and genre fiction!

November 3, 2017 Schedule

10:00am – 11:45am – NaNoWriMo Writing Time
(Seattle Central Library, 1000 4th Ave, Seattle, Location TBA)

Need time to work on your NaNoWriMo word count? We’ll have space set up at the library for you to sit down and work on your NaNoWriMo or other writing projects.

Write with Pride Writer’s Workshop

12pm – 5:30pm

12pm – 1pm – Write with Pride Registration
Seattle Central Public Library, 1000 4th Ave, 4th Floor, Room 1

Stop by to grab your nametag, sign in and grab your seat for the Write with Pride writer’s workshop that will include a keynote chat with author Nisi Shawl and multiple writing sessions throughout the afternoon.

Registration is required to attend, and is on a sliding scale of $0-$25.

We’ll be kicking off the Write with Pride workshop with a keynote chat with author Nisi Shawl (Everfair, Writing the Other) on what are the ways writers can authentically bring a variety of characters to life in their stories.

Throughout the conference, the RWP bookfest will be running on the fourth floor, room 1, and will include the bookseller’s table, hosted by Another Read Through, where you can purchase books by attending authors. Come stop by and peruse some amazing books!

The Bookfest is free to attend and open to the public.

1:00pm – 2:00pm – Read with Pride Kick-Off and Keynote
(1st Floor Auditorium)

Join us as we kick-off RWP’s fifth year with a keynote fireside chat with authors Rebekah Weatherspoon (Soul to Keep, Treasure) and Tobi Hill-Meyer (Nerve Endings: The New Trans Erotic) for a discussion and Q&A on how the LGBTQIA romance genre is evolving and where things need to grow from here.
